A great option instead of an expensive dealer key. . The locksmith charged $35 for cutting and programming but was able to start the car. I programmed it myself following YouTube's instructions

I had cut out keys, but for some reason the built-in program could not work. The same Smith lock she cut open ended up programming all 4 keys and resetting the key the Lexus came with. In total with the cost of keys and programming I got 5 sets of keys, 3 with search and 2 valet keys for around 200.00. The dealer wanted 425.00 for a key. I'm so glad I found these keys and a great locksmith.

The key itself fires well, no problems. It doesn't fit in the door, it's just too thick! The self-programming instructions do not work for the 2009 Lexus RX350, it requires a TechStream programmer and the thieves are not interested in cutting/programming the keys. it's not hers. That's nice! But it's also pretty useless. if you can't find a locksmith.

Although I was disappointed that these spare keys didn't work with the trunk of my Lexus SC-430, it was a cheap and easy solution to getting spare keys when I have one lost my oem.
