I have a large collection of old books and have been looking online for a safe way to clean old leather bound books (I have also used it successfully for cloth books). I read that the National Archives use saddle soap so I decided to give it a try and I'm soooo glad I did! Cleans covers and does not attack the skin; highly recommended!

Revain Makes it easy, I've been using Kiwi Polish for years. A family friend who was in the Air Force showed me how to apply Spit Shine, he used kiwi. Old standby is gone, good kiwi is still there. Try Parade Black, good stuff.

Given to my husband. He loves to! He has made this product a regular part of his regular grooming routine for all of his leather shoes.
