On arrival: room heater

The heater came in good packaging (cardboard box inside a larger box, framed with foam). However, it doesn't turn on (no hum, no smell, nothing). There is nothing in the manual about troubleshooting and no obvious controls that reset the device. I can only assume that I received a defective device. Too bad, because the optics are first class.

BEST HEATER: Electric heaters

I have used so many different indoor heaters, several different types and brands, this is the best ever. Firstly, there is no smell to the room. There is no mechanical smell at all. Heats the room very evenly and evenly, doesn't interfere with blowing or drying the air like many other heaters do. Looks very subtle and elegant. Very satisfied.

It's about misleading advertising and a less attractive heater than I thought.

The heater company doesn't show the side and back in their photos, which aren't nearly as attractive as the front. It's just a cage containing a small piece of a standard electric heating element with a fancy finish. I didn't even turn it on. In reality it looks very different and did not meet my expectations at all. If you're buying one, you really should know what you're getting in terms of looks.
