The only complaint is that you have to tighten the clamps quite hard to hold them. Otherwise, it saved my large lens when shooting sports.

Monopod arrived on time and in good condition. I'll be testing it out in the real world on vacation this summer, where I may need to use it as a camera monopod and walking stick for my old knees.

Haven't really used it yet but appears to be made from very high quality powder coated anodised aluminium. The rings that pull the bar sections together to lengthen them feel exceptionally tight when twisted to hold the sections in place. I highly doubt that they will be used in use. I will update this review once I use it more to see if my opinion changes.

I had a lighter monopod that was good for photography but I used it as a walking stick. With a little pressure it shortened, and when the legs were pulled out it fell apart. This one is very strong. Although I don't put a lot of strain on it, it's very useful as a walking stick. The sections are easy to open and close and hold the locks.

Sturdy, I'm generally not a fan of twist curls, but they haven't slipped or untied me yet. I love that the bottom leg unscrews from the monopod (and has a 3/8-16 thread) so it can be screwed onto other legs and bases. The double-sided threading at the top is a nice feature. I didn't think I would use it often, but I use it all the time. If I want to install a ball head I can use the 3/8-16 side.
