Description of Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush: 90 Colors Set | AP-Certified | Professional Quality | Made in Japan

[90 COLORS SET] ZIG Clean Color Real Brush is a brush type watercolor pen, so it can be used in a wide range of applications such as illustration, design, lettering, and Manga. Because it is a water-based dye ink, you can blur it with water or mix with other real brush colors or blender. The pens are not individually shrink wrapped. [DIVERSE APPLICATION] Hold the pen upright to draw a fine line or hold the pen at an angle to color wider areas. When combined with a water brush, you can easily express blurring. Wet the tip of the pen slightly with water to produce multiple gradations of one color. [REAL BRUSH] Multiple colors can be combined to create gradations. First, start by applying a darker color, and before it dries, add another color over it to create a color gradation. It is ideal for watercolor, fine art, modern calligraphy, crafts, Journaling, card making, and scrapbooking. In addition, you can apply a darker-colored ink directly to the tip of a light-colored pen to create a gradation when drawing with the lighter color. [Certification] Xylene-free, conforms to ASTM D 4236, ACMI-certified for safety, registered AP mark for sale in the United States. [Attention] Be sure to close the cap, and store horizontally away from direct sunlight. If you write quickly, the tip will feel rough, but this is a feature of the pen. If ink appears when you write slowly, the pen is not dry. The pens are not individually shrink wrapped. [HIGH QUALITY] Flexible bristle brush tip makes it easy to create both narrow and wide lines. Great brush pens for watercolor painting, brush lettering, modern calligraphy and more. In 1973, Kuretake developed "Kuretake Fude Pen" and has developed various brush pen since then. Since the development of brush pen technology also applies to the ZIG Clean Color Real Brush, it has become a high-quality watercolor brush pen.

Amazing on Bristol Smooth Cards

These strong, durable brush pens work great on Bristol Smooth cards. I love that this set has a blender handle. Large assortment of flowers.

Cons
  • It's OK

Great product - great price

I chose the 90 color set as I have a 48 color set. I didn't care if I had duplicates. I love my ZIG watercolor brushes. The ink is liquid allowing you to mix colors, blend and more! This is a great price for what you get. I understand they are not refillable but I don't care. I would buy them again!

Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

I love ridges but lots of dry marks.

I bought a 90 pack as an improved replacement for my previous 60 pack. I like the additional colors but there were quality issues that my original set didn't have. More than 1 in 6 markers are so rough and dry you might think they're sold out and not brand new. All in all I would still recommend clear colored markers but not from this seller.

Feel them good

These brush pens have a real brush tip and are great for a variety of techniques. I wish they had more ink for the price but they are wonderful to use. They look great on paper and the suggested colors are a nice addition if you can't find the color you want in other brush sets. I switch between these and the Arteza Real Brush Pens in my projects, which gives me a wider range. Zig Brush Pens have a slightly lighter, sometimes more watercolored application, but they're layered to vary intensity,

I like them.: Painting

So far so good. As some others have said, some of them weren't as "runny" as others - they were dry compared to other pens in the same box. That's fine if you plan on adding water, but can be tricky if you just want to use a pen to add color. I was impressed with the variety of colors and they are easy to use for this really novice Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker enthusiast. When measuring the wet and dry (amount of liquid dispensed) of the marker, my lack of experience is irrelevant. They…

Great mixes

I really like these mixes after a lot of learning. Before buying I didn't know it was a dye based ink but that's ok. This makes them more difficult to use as typical watercolor markers, which is what I was initially hoping for. I don't do statistics because I didn't do any research. I like that I can transfer a darker pencil to a lighter one and create a blend. I learned that you can easily create smooth gradients by either dipping a pen in water or putting some water on paper. I didn't have a…

Kuretake fan!

*Note* The illustrated photos of all colors offered in Set 90 are quickly scribbled on cheap Xerox paper. Colors on watercolor paper are more vibrant. I'm still playing with them and learning how to work with them, but they're great. The colors are strong and harmonize very well. I also have single color II markers and the colors are similar. The brush tip really is where it is though, it allows you to get into some very tight spots and makes for a pretty sexy line. I've also included a photo…

Use these pens for simple watercolors and stamps

I refused to buy them for about a year. At one point I had different color options in my cart (12, 24, etc.). I decided to buy a 90 color set because I had the ability to mix and match color palettes so I could make many different colors. I spent part of that year thinking I'd just buy a collection of ink pads from one or more different companies. around the network. I've thought about it, nearly pulled the trigger and honestly pinched it every time because I don't have much room to store 100…
