True Plug and Play - Wiring Harnesses

This is a real automatic installation for the 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. I was told they didn't do it for me because of the auto trunk release feature. It's the only thing they do for him that doesn't involve cutting wires. This product is highly recommended!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Installation takes about an hour, had to be replaced after 2 years.

UPDATE AT THE END. I used this on my 2017 escape and it couldn't have gone smoother and took about an hour. I would suggest getting a large shrink tube for the extra wire that is left behind the taillights, you may hear a little rumble if you don't. /// I had to replace this after 2 years of use because the bed control module sucks.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Ok

Mostly fit replacement parts

will NOT work with Hopkins mount 48595 as mentioned in another review. The shape is completely different. I am very happy with this wiring harness for my 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. I managed to install everything myself. I ran a power wire to an unused fuse in the trunk fuse box. The only negative is that the instructions don't mention that there is a part in my escape that says you need to install a black box. I had to tie the box under the same piece of metal.

  • Constant test results

CURT is the Best - Lighting and Electrical

CURT made this installation easy. Make sure to use their videos and you'll find that you can install this in no time. Pros: - Quality product - Respected brand - Unbeatable customer service Cons: - The installer suggests connecting a new "hot" wire to the battery to power this unit, but there is another option. Just type "add circuit" and this component allows you to connect to existing wiring. I was able to use existing circuitry that would be used to power the subwoofer, but my model didn't…

Perfect fit for 2017 Ford Escape Titanium

Had some trouble finding a wiring harness to fit my 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. After some research I found this product along with installation instructions on Youtube eTrailer. It fits what it says! As for the product itself, I was impressed with how easy it was to install, even though it didn't come with the best instructions (just watch the video instead!). I drove over 600 miles this weekend with a small trailer with LED headlights and had no problems. If you are looking for a towbar for…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Works perfectly. suitable for lighting and electrics

Not too difficult to install. It must have taken me 2 hours. I still don't understand why the manufacturer would object to connecting the power supply cable to the additional fuse panel on the back of the 2018 Ford Escape Titanium! It has constant power! Using something like the AutoEC ATO ATC 21AMP Add-A-Circuit Fuse Kit with Fuse Holder works fine. But since they don't support that option I connected it to the battery, which was pretty easy for the Escape by hiding it above the driver…

  • GOLS certified

  • Not the best

Fast plug and play installation. Less than 1 hour and you're done.

I installed it myself on my Ford Escape (SEL) 2018 Perfect! Installation took just under 1 hour with the right tools and a rough idea of where to route and hide the cables. Plug and play direct installation, which only required wiring, consisted of connecting the positive pole. Save a few hours compared to a universal wire kit where you have to locate each individual wire coming from your taillight to connect. Not to mention you have to change the factory wiring. With this kit you do not change

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Curt 56320 works with a major defect

Curt 56320 works but has a BIG defect. I don't know if I just got a lemon or if it's their design, but there is a PIN or pin on one side of the trailer connector that turns ON when the TAILLIGHTS are on. See accompanying photos. I thought it might be a mounting pin, but if you put this fork in the hitch mount, it WILL hit the ground. Of course, the testing was done AFTER INSTALLATION, so returning it for an exchange would be agony. So my advice to buyers is: check if you have a plug with a pin…

Curt 56320 for 2017 Ford "Escape "

Curt #56320 for 2017 Escape. The installation takes a long time to get "right". This unit is not waterproof and the instructions suggest installing it in a car (unlike the "Tekonsha" product I was looking at). Removing the interior panels sounded complicated, but it was pretty easy. Hooking up the adapters to the taillights is easy enough (and there was sealant to fix the seals in the kit). There were no holes to drill. As other reviewers have noted, the unit is simply powered from a fuse box…

A very rare Horrible Fright folding trailer that I converted to LED.

This actually fits my 2017 Escape, I should have taken more care and not listened to Revain's "it fits in your car" seat belt seat belts for 2013-2016 Escape. I cut it so I didn't have to make big holes to get the whole connector to the taillights and I didn't route the battery cable from the front but used the fuse tap and fuse panel in the trunk. , 5 meter wire against 20 run away under the car. The length of everything was enough, only part of the instructions I read was which side the only…
