Waterproof up to the knee!

These SuMade Unisex Knee High Hiking Climbing Cycling Socks really are waterproof but they are hard to get off.I didn't really know what to expect but these socks just feel like thick, soft, socks. They seem to have a lining of some sort - maybe neoprene? The stuff wetsuits are made of? They fit snugly everywhere except the toe. I love that the toe area is very roomy. Even though I have narrow feet, I dislike my toes being squished together. These socks are superbly comfortable in that area…

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The socks may take longer to dry than regular socks.

Wow, Fantastic Wet suit for your FEET!

These are amazing, thick, Comfortable, totally waterproof socks! They feel like they have neoprene material in them, but are softer and more pliable. You can literally walk through water with these on and your feet will be dry when you pull them off.excellent hiking socks, both for the comfort and the ability to keep your feet dry! Exceptional quality socks! Not to mention Really COOL looking!

Pros
  • Washing Instruction- When these socks are machine washed, the water temperature should be below 40℃/ 104℉ and while hand washed, the water should under normal temperature. Do not iron or dry clean. Tumble dry is feasible within 60℃/ 140℉.
Cons
  • May not be available in a range of colors or designs.

Feels like I'm wearing a wet suit on my feet

It's true, these things are 100% waterproof. Walk in a stream, hike in the rain--your feet stay dry. However, the fabric feels so weird against my skin. It actually feels like wearing a wet suit on your feet. They are also stiff like a suit, and thick. They're well made and padded in all the right places. The thickness kept my feet warm but I did notice the foot sweat didn't wick away as well as I would have liked. Reliable socks for foul weather but I won't be wearing them around the campfire.

Pros
  • keeps your feet dry but can still breathe unlike neoprene
Cons
  • Wasn’t waterproof

Surprisingly Comfortable, Functional

My concern when getting these socks was that they would be too heavy and would not breathe at all. Since they are waterproof, I thought they might be too oppressive to my feet and legs, and I'd end up just getting extremely sweaty. (That's an issue I've always had with raincoats. Sure, they keep the rain out, but they also keep the sweat in.)To my surprise, I found these very comfortable and no more sweat-inducing than what I'd normally experience with regular socks. Though very thick, they…

Pros
  • Socks
Cons
  • The knee-high design may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues.

Nice and comfortable waterproof socks.

These are amazing. I didn't think they would meet my expectations, waterproof? Pffft, let's see! When I finally got them, I tried them on and I don't think I've ever tried on a pair of socks that felt this way. They fit as expected, are comfortable to wear and felt like they were made for my feet, just feels nice when worn. They also feel and look like a pair of high quality socks. And yes, they are waterproof. I wore these out hiking the past weekend and while being near a river, I managed to…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • May not be as soft and cozy as regular socks.

Truly waterproof - my new review

I walked right into 8 inches of water wearing these, and my feet stayed totally dry. Boots got soaked but my feet were dry. They're not very breathable and could get hot and sweaty inside, so finding the right weather to wear them in will be important. On a warm day (70s) I wore these for a hike of a few miles and I was comfortable most of the way. I took my boots off and could barely even feel the breeze through the socks, either. So they're better for cooler weather, or you could even wear…

Pros
  • Outer: 61% waterproof nylon,32% polyester,7% elastane; Inter: 100% waterproof and breathable membrane; Lining: 66% coolmax,30% polyester,4% elastane.
Cons
  • May not be as versatile as regular socks.

Should have got a long time ago!

I have a sand allergy and these were perfect. If I only went in the ocean to my knees they were water tight! Very comfortable. Couldn’t feel any rocks under my feet. Kept them warm. When I did swim in the ocean, some water got in but never sand.

Pros
  • Created with sustainable and recyclable materials
Cons
  • May not be as flexible as regular socks.

Work as Intended for my opinion

Size up 1-2 sizes as they are tight on the calf and when pulling over your heel but they work great for walking on the beach when it’s chilly and you don’t want to be running from the surf.

Pros
  • Perfect fit: Comes in different sizes, ensuring a perfect fit for every foot
Cons
  • The waterproof material may cause the feet to overheat in warm weather.

Comfortable and work

I use this product for fishing when I may need to step in water less than knee deep. I have used 1 time and was happy with how they worked

Pros
  • These are some good quality socks. They fit great and are comfortable. Look pretty nice. Work great.
Cons
  • May not be as comfortable as regular socks

Bought for riding on motorcycle in inclement weather. Used on recent trip. Worked as planned! Keep feet dry and extremely comfortable.

Pros
  • Protects against abrasions: Don’t worry about scraping your knees and ruining your socks
Cons
  • The waterproof material may cause skin irritation.

This is a gift for my daughter-in-law

Attractive product. My daughter-in-law kayaks and when she said it is hard to exit kayak without getting wet I thought this would be appropriate as a birthday gift. Hope to give to her this Friday.

Pros
  • Men
Cons
  • The waterproof material may cause the feet to sweat excessively.

Good Extreme Weather Socks

I am a big fan of waterproof socks.I bought my first pair over thirty years ago & have been hooked ever since. So in all my years of buying/trying them, I have become well versed in what works & what does not.IMO these socks are very water resistant only. & their water resistant properties are not up to the standards of a true waterproof sock.I have tried these types of socks before. they work great for the most part, until you use them for EXTENDED PERIODS of time in adverse conditions.yes they

Pros
  • Never worry about walking around with soggy socks again
Cons
  • The knee-high design may cause problems with circulation.

Great for winter hiking

I have used randy sun in the past. The waterproof material may cause the feet to feel clammy.. These su made seem to be more durable. I've enjoyed keeping my feet dry with these.

Pros
  • Sport Specific Clothing
Cons
  • The waterproof material may cause the feet to feel clammy.

Comfy warm socks good for me

These socks are very comfortable. They are knee high and perfect for hiking and snowshoeing. My wife says they fit perfect and are very warm and comfortable. They do have a lining in them and it does shift around just a bit (my wife said that it actually felt like there was an air pocket surrounding her feet. We didn't test out the waterproofing but my wife says that even in the 90 degree heat these breathed very well. She said her feet did get warm but didn't get sweaty or gross. She can't…

Pros
  • Helps regulate temperature
Cons
  • The socks may cause discomfort due to tight seams.

Works as long as it doesn’t go above the sock

Worked well but I accidentally allowed the water to go over the top area.I definitely had water inside after that. However before that happened my feet were dry.

Pros
  • Made to last hiking adventures and outdoor activities
Cons
  • May be difficult to put on and take off.

Actually is waterproof

So I had skepticism about a sock that is waterproof. And after wearing them and splashing through a river or two, here are my impressions. It feels like your feet are wet, but it's just the cold of the body of water you are walking through. After doing a long hike, my shoes were completely soaked. But my feet were dry. These socks are tight, like compression socks. They are also very cold, they don't keep your feet very warm. So, I put socks on underneath the compression socks. That helped a…

Pros
  • Affordable: Fantastic quality for an unbeatable price
Cons
  • The socks may be awkward to wear under certain types of shoes.

Good Hiking Socks in my review

Waterproof and super comfortable pair of hiking socks. Provide good protection and are breathable at the same time. They're padded in all the right spots and provide warmth and are water repellent. Socks go up past the calf and fit the feet and leg nicely. Made of high quality material. Good pair of waterproof socks.

Pros
  • Unisex design: Suitable for men and women of all ages
Cons
  • May not offer enough support for individuals with foot or ankle injuries.

Not waterproof: my feedback

Bought them for a Spartan race, when you have to run through some water & practiced running in the rain. Not only are they not waterproof but, they retain water inside the sock

Pros
  • Cozy and comfortable
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with foot disorders.

Mind blowing in my review

I bought these for the cold days on the water with the jets skis, and they were amazing. Not the red and black socks I ordered, but still kept my feet dry and warm

Pros
  • Good looking. Feet are warm and dry. Did not shrink in the dryer.
Cons
  • Leaked water in on first use around the ankles.

perfectly dry in my review

Bought these for a trip to Iceland where we were told to have plenty of waterproof stuff to wear. These were the best investment ever. My feet stayed dry and warm even though my shoes were wet. I would definitely recommend if you need waterproof sox.

Pros
  • Like it says its waterproof. Just know that it will make your feet sweat. Due to the insulation.
Cons
  • May not provide enough support for strenuous activities such as hiking or kayaking.
