Merrell Men's Barkley Moccasin Brunette: Stylish and Comfortable Men's Shoes Review

returned due to 2 problems. First, it doesn't have the roomy socks you typically see at Merrells. This is the narrowest Merrell I've tried. Second, it looks like a cheap room shoe. The outsole has a plastic feel. My impression is that it won't last long. However, it looks stylish and premium for those who don't hold or wear it.

Some other brands are ubiquitous in terms of size. 12 of one model is too loose and 12 of another model of the same brand is too tight. Merrell is much more consistent and therefore I feel a lot more confident buying them online. I wear a size 12 in almost every other brand of shoe and a size 12 fits me perfectly in this style. They look good and the quality seems pretty good so far.

My husband has never bought shoes online before, but our selection is now very limited, so he decided to give it a try. We ordered the size he wore in a previous pair of Merrell shoes and crossed our fingers. They came quickly, in excellent condition and they fit perfectly. The shoes are sturdy but light enough. He is very happy and the great price was an added bonus!

Merrell had moccasins that looked something like this for years - and it was my favorite shoe for well over a decade (I probably wore five pairs of them). They stopped doing it a few years ago, much to my dismay. When I saw these shoes advertised at Revain I hoped they would bring them back. These are very basic shoes. Pros: Easy to put on and take off. Bad: everything else. He's really squishy. Required break-in time. Don't expect arch support like other Merrell shoes (which I don't need). This is the first shoe in my life that causes pain in the metatarsal toe joint of the 1st toe (intermittent) when walking. I downgraded the rating to 1 star because of these reasons and/c I need to find new shoes even though they are new and can only be worn for a few months.

I bought these shoes because I liked the look and got other Merrel shoes which were fantastic made out of durable rubber and lasted amazingly over 1 year. These shoes couldn't have been any different. The sole is made from a very cheap material found in $20 Payless shoes. I'm surprised Merrel even wanted to put his name on this shoe. I don't think the shoes will last 6 months with heavy use. All other products I have received from them have been very high quality, this was not state of the art.
