Cross holder defective

I ordered the same shoes twice in three days. I have already returned the first pair and will be returning the second pair for the same reason - broken cruciate ligament retainer. I bought this shoe in a "wide" size and it definitely fit my foot width, but overall it was too big. If I had worn socks with him they might have fitted better so I sent them back. I bought a size 5. I couldn't figure…
