I hesitated but couldn't find another product that sounded good. It doesn't taste very good but it works and I use it every day because of that horrible metallic taste. I'm just ordering this second bottle. Good luck with your treatment.

I started this as I am undergoing chemotherapy and recently after 18 months of treatment I have lost my sense of taste and all food has become bitter. Stumbled upon it and used it all day and tasted my first regular meal in weeks.

FOLFOX treatments and everything tastes unpleasant. I was advised to try this. I did and I've been using it for days! I like! I recommend trying it. But the price is off the wall. Therefore 4 stars.

I've been on chemotherapy for six months now and probably three more. I told a friend that I'm tired of the constant horrible taste in my mouth. She sent me a smaller bottle of MetaQil. It doesn't taste very good until I swish it around in my mouth for about twenty seconds. The taste lingers for a few minutes after I spit it out. However, since I've been using it multiple times a day (two or three) the awful taste has really gone away. This has been a great product for me.

This was suggested to me by my nutritionist one day during chemo. She gave me a small 2 oz. Sample. I didn't think it would work as I've tried every product on offer and a few old wives tales.
