Great car antenna extension!

Excellent antenna extension. I needed one for my 2005 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L truck and it was the perfect length as the Ford factory antenna wire is very, very short making it difficult to fit in the back of the radio. I would highly recommend this extension and would buy it again in the future should the need arise.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Security

Good quality, exact length I need

Installed the radio in my wife's car. The antenna cable was only a few inches shorter to reach the new stereo. This cable added 6 inches which made installation very easy. The connection was very solid, meaning no wobbling or anything like that. I still taped it around, but I guess it really wasn't necessary.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Damaged

is it a cable Best Audio & Video Accessories

I mean it works. I got it because the cable from the antenna isn't long enough to stay connected while you unplug the factory receiver. Then, when I got a new receiver, the plug had to come out the other way around, so not just for convenience (it was almost impossible to plug in the original receiver and install the receiver at the same time), but it became a necessity as well. The radio signal works perfectly. It's a cable, it works lol

Crucial Bit Antenna Kit

When the OEM radio on my truck died and I had to replace it, the new radio's antenna connector was on the opposite side and the OEM antenna wire was on the opposite side have not achieved it. This extension was the solution, it fit perfectly, the new radio works and above all this cable was very cheap. This is a 5 star zero negative product. I would buy again and if you are replacing a radio on your trip and need an antenna extender this is for you.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...

Just what I needed

Exactly what I needed when replacing the head unit in my '98 Wrangler. The new unit's antenna connector was on the driver's side, which made my factory cable about 4 inches shorter and didn't fit in any way. Ordered this Metra cable and plugged it into the socket behind the glove compartment (the antenna was already connected to the device, didn't remove the thing again). Worked great with just enough play to pull the radio out should that happen in the future.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Fragile

I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace the

This was part of a project to move the antenna on my car. Delivery was quick as always as it is a first class item. The overall quality is what you would expect in this price range. The length is correct and I had no trouble connecting either the male or female end. Both ends are connected correctly and without play. The cable itself appears to be decently insulated, and I've had no issues with it snapping or breaking as I routed it through the car's metal body. I would recommend this to anyone

Pros
  • coaxial antenna. Good product for its price
Cons
  • Quality
