Fits perfectly! (02 Civic LX Coupe)

Yes, you have to cut out the center and clean it up with a file (a simple nail file might work) but once it's off it slides in so easily it surprised me. . Makes my stereo look like OEM. I'm very happy with how it turned out and would highly recommend anyone with a double noise in a Honda to get one!

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled

Looked great in my 2001 Honda Civic

I'm sad that my Civic has been dusted and I had to sell the double din stereo I installed not long ago. But while installed it looked great. Yes, you have to disassemble the middle plastic and flatten the sides, but for the price I couldn't complain. Now I'm back to the stock crappy radio in a 1998 Saturn :(

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Appearance

Double din kit will not fit double din radio

If you are looking to fit this in a double din radio it will not fit. I bought a 2 din planetary sound system expecting it to fit as intended for a 2 din radio. I cut out the thin plastic center piece down the middle and it didn't fit my radio at all. The 2 din case does not fit the 2 din floppy kit cutout a priori.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Good but not great

He approaches the hole and fills the empty space.

Fits in the hole and fills the empty space around my double din main unit. I removed the star because it's a useless spacer that needs to be cut and sanded down. You can't tell too much from the photo, but grinding the protrusion has caused some scratches on the sloping surface immediately surrounding the main unit's bezel.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great at first but needs to be cut to double din

Tried three different dashboards. Here's the truth. It's the only one that actually fits properly, but it's also the only one that has a freaking stripe down the middle, like someone really put a dyne on a 20 F@&King-20. I filed the cut as best I could but it still looks bad. ONLY WITH THIS DOUBLE DIN METRA GETS THE RIGHT ACTION AND THE BETTER DESIGN.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • A few small things

Bought for my GPS setup

Ultimately we contacted Best Buy and wanted to purchase a 2005 Honda Civic GPS/Backup Camera that had been completely redone inside and out... It was very important to choose the perfect GPS, but if Best buy gives me a price breakdown they said they stop selling this kit which sucks because it's only $3.99 in the kit compared to having to buy it elsewhere but revain was the quickest and cheapest way to get it. We ended up going to Best Buy and wanted a GPS/backup camera for a 2005 Honda Civic…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Minor repairability
