no problems so far best in filters

This is a filter. Fits where it's supposed to and looks like what was shot (06 Grand Marquis) - sort of the same quality. There is nothing more to know. Supplied with the gasket already installed on the neck. Be sure to remove the old gasket from the gearbox if it does not remain on the neck of the old filter when you pull it out.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Direct Replacement Best Replacement Parts

Did my transfilter at the same time as timing kit on my truck. If you find a yellow fork, don't panic like me when you find a YELLOW FORK. That means you're the first there. The plug came plugged into the dipstick hole at the factory, and when the tube is installed, insert the plug into the transmission and leave it there. just throw it away

Excellent fit, the only filter I would use on a Ford.

Replacing the transmission filter is fiddly work, so be sure to use a good filter like this when you do it. Cheap ones can have bad seals, causing the transmission to suck in air with disastrous results. Make sure the old gasket comes out with the old filter and you're done. This will do a great job of cleaning up your messy trance.

Pros
  • Top marks from testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Available in white only

Ideal for the fuel system

Exact filter replacement for 2004 F150 with 4R75W engine. I don't know what else to say, don't worry if it fits or not because it will fit. Also works with my '02 and matches the 4R70W perfectly. - The ring comes out with the old filter, mine got stuck there when I pulled the old one out but I checked before putting the new one in.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

It fits, it works.: Replacement parts

I bought this to replace the filter when I switched the fluid from "any" to Mercon V. The liquid really solved the shaking problem. Don't forget to remove the plastic gasket from the valve body before attempting to install a new filter. Watch the video tutorial if needed. This filter is supplied without a pan seal. you don't need it The factory seal is reusable.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

fits my 05 F150 - spare parts

does the job. The last time I used the Duralast filter, while I was driving off-road, it somehow managed to fall out of the pump's fluid inlet and the transmission started to slip. After a lot of troubleshooting, I dropped the pan and it just sat in the pan. In short, I will only use Motorcraft transmission filters in my truck. If only they had a locking bolt like GM and Dodge.

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • some difficulties

It is very important to change them.

If you don't mind the mess, get in there yourself and change the transmission filter at least every 50,000 miles. If you tow or move heavy loads, do it every 30,000 miles. Watch some YouTube videos to see how. Be sure to use the correct gear oil as specified in the owner's manual. Do not underfill or overfill the transmission. No automatic transmission needs maintenance. They want you to buy a new car after an early transmission failure.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Unsure

High quality original part suitable for spare parts

Excellent filter, comes with a rubber bushing. I recommend changing your transmission oil and filter every 40,000 km for an automatic transmission. You'll save yourself a lot of money later. Always lower the pan and change the filter. Never wash it off with a machine. This will corrupt your transmission. There is a magnet in the pan that needs cleaning anyway. Usually the dealer doesn't change the filter, have a mechanic do it if you don't know cars. They would change the oil and not change the

1999 Ford F150 4.6 Romeo Engine

This is a perfect replacement for the original. Original engine and transmission with no significant maintenance or replacement for more than 290,000 miles. The gearbox has never been serviced. The transmission fluid was almost black, and there was three-quarters of an inch of sediment at the bottom of the transmission pan. After cleaning the oil pan including the magnet which btw looked like a big fluffy donut when the oil pan was opened and the original plastic plug removed this filterโ€ฆ
