My son has fine motor skills problems. He is also tall and thin. His kindergarten didn't need belts, but he couldn't hold up his pants! This harness is great for my 5 year old who needs it for kindergarten (for school uniforms). He sits on it perfectly, he's tall and thin. I love how it attaches to a belt loop and the velcro fastens in the middle so it's easy for a small child to open it on their own to use the bathroom.
