Much more convenient and reliable than open skeleton pistols

Good day, dear friends and readers, as well as guests of . I want to share with you my impression of using a closed-type silicone and sealant gun, purchased more than a year ago in the Maksidom store for a little more than 400 rubles. This is, of course, the simplest, and therefore inexpensive, representative of closed-type pistols. Production is in China, but strangely everything is done with high quality. A comfortable handle will ensure an easy and uniform supply of material, whether it be…

Pros
  • More comfortable and durable
Cons
  • Plastic nut, it would be better if everything was aluminum

Chasing - no problem

I am familiar with home service, including chasing. I've always HATED caulk, caulk, and caulking guns. This purchase of a cartridge gun completely changed the situation. I find this caulking gun really allows me to get the results I've always wanted. An action that relieves pressure on the caulking tube and allows me to follow the bead I've just applied while lowering the caulking gun without fear of the caulking gun sitting there dispensing material is a true dream come true I love this…

Pull hard to unlock/no release lever

This was the first time I've resealed a tub but I've used a caulking gun before and this was the first I've used that doesn't have one had release lever. I looked at the videos the company made on how to use it but they all missed the "no release lever" part and it was frustrating until I tried to pull it really hard and it worked. I'm very happy with the product, I'm just sorry I didn't hear about it sooner. I had a deep gap under the tile all the way around (after removing the old gasket) and

Good, simple cartridge gun

I confess I know next to nothing about cartridges and cartridge guns. However, I like this cartridge gun and am generally happy with it. This pistol appears to be made from quality materials that are both durable and easy to clean (although the fact that the rod doesn't rotate makes it a bit fiddly). harder to clean than expected). The few moving parts feel well constructed and unlikely to break or stop working. The trigger pulls smoothly and I was able to get a good flow without too much…

Who would have thought that a few bucks could make life so much easier?

I am a self-taught mother. I do very little with it. Over the past ten years I have completely renovated our entire home on a tight budget. I've always gone for the cheapest caulking gun without realizing there's a difference. For some non-obvious or maybe accidental reason I got this gun. I almost returned it when I realized it wasn't the $2 pistol I was used to, can't remember why I didn't. I must have been desperate to finish the project and everything else was broken or missing as usual…

Buy with confidence!

UPDATE: Just bought another of these caulk guns. I still have the first one and it works well after almost two years of daily use. Just needed a fresh backup. I've shot at least 450-500 tubes of caulk through this thing and it still works like magic. I bought this gun about 5 months ago and it is great quality. I use it several times a week with different sealants and adhesives. As soon as you stop pulling the trigger, the flow stops. Not much liquid to speak of, except maybe some less viscous…

Works as advertised - hand tool

Many write negative reviews about this product. I noticed that they all have one thing in common, they claim that the product caused the caulk to fly out of the back of their caulking tube/can. I don't think this is the result of this weapon. I don't think these people knew that you have to break the inner seal of the seal. The pistol has a small needle protrusion that can be unscrewed from below. Use this to break the "seal" that is *inside* the seal tube after you've successfully cut the tip…

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Incredibly plausible difference. Now I am a reformed poet.

I never thought that embossing would be so much fun. I've replaced all the floors, windows, door moldings in our house and since last summer I've seriously left them unsanded and unpainted because I was so scared of grouting. I went and bought an electric/battery powered caulking gun, although I was hoping it would do better. Tried it alone with a cheap big shop 2 weeks ago and almost burst into tears thinking I would have to caulk the whole house (including the crown molding). On a whim I…

Who would have thought a caulking gun deserved 5 stars?

I never thought I would write a 5 star review for a caulking gun but here it is. As an enthusiastic hobbyist and woman, I have been hunting for many years. But I've always bought cheap cartridge guns because I figured it couldn't make much of a difference. Well all of our windows needed re-sealing and this appeared as an 'add-on'. Basically, I wanted a "C" shaped grip that would allow the gun to hang from a ladder while in use. This product is so much more! It has soft grips that my 'over 55'…

Amazing control, a must for applying elastomeric sealant

When I applied silicone sealant in my bathrooms and exterior window J-channels last year, I used a 160:20 sealant gun with a pressure-release latch. In the hands of a contractor, the proof pressure of this caulking gun could be an asset; This caused a mess for me as the gun kept squeezing the sealant out while I fumbled to pull the pressure release latch to stop the flow. I now had to use Big Stretch elastomeric sealant on baseboards and was recommended a non-drip caulking gun. The Newborn…
