I recently bought this camera from Amazon. This is a great camera. I was worried about all the negative reviews but I had to try. It's as good as any other P&S camera. The touch screen is very cool if you like it. Unless you buy one of the non-touchscreen Nikons. He takes great pictures for P&S. The idea of this product was very good. So I couldn't wait to get one for my wife. Unfortunately, this technology is not perfect at all. First, the touchscreen's response is extremely inconsistent. This used camera is a few years old but arrived in near perfect condition and was delivered on time. It only cost about $25 because it didn't come with a charger and a spare battery from Kodak, not Nikon. I'm still learning all the features but so far I'm very happy with this camera. The picture quality is excellent. All images come out fine with automatic settings. The camera has many other options, for nighttime, indoors, outdoors, parties, etc., but the auto mode works best. But like I said, I'm still learning how to operate the camera. Camera purchased in January 2009. Stops working after less than a month. Nikon fixes the camera but returns a completely different camera that looks like it was thrown out of a moving car.
