Superb optical clarity

These binoculars are exactly what I wanted for travel. Excellent optical clarity, light weight and stylish looks. According to the characteristics, everything is worthy of the five and the Nikon brand. The only point of criticism is the missing protective caps for the eye area of the binoculars.

  • Always liked

Great compact binoculars

The 10x25 binoculars are great for wildlife viewing or sporting events. This is my second pair. I was completely satisfied with both. The suitcase is placed on the belt and you never know they are there. I bought a second pair so my wife and I would have binoculars for our upcoming trip to Kenya, Africa.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Empty

They're still sharp and work great! Bought as a retrofit kit

It's the glass that counts! For the price, for a lightweight, versatile pair of binoculars, this is a winner. I have a pair of Travelite 3's that I have owned for years, they are still perfectly sharpened and work great! I bought it as an extra set so I always have it with me in my everyday backpack.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it promises

Very impressive! the best of binoculars and scopes

I tried to buy a cheaper pair that many others gave good reviews but it turned out to be useless so I immediately returned and ordered them. They impress with their size and weight and are even better than our really big binoculars from years ago. I needed something light and strong as it would fit in my hiking backpack. The rest of the time they sit in our conservatory and watch the birds! Even my husband is very happy with them and he is usually a harsh critic! Goodbye!

Image quality: binoculars

We have four Nikon Travelite binoculars and have used them for many years. We have used them in Africa instead of large binoculars and have found them to be much lighter and easier to use, much longer without becoming heavy with excellent imaging. There are many other small binoculars available at much lower prices but we care about the picture and have never been disappointed by the Travelites. Please note that lower magnification Nikons collect more light in the evening or morning, so we…

light but powerful

I was looking for lightweight binoculars for safari in Tanzania and was willing to sacrifice some image quality for light weight. I didn't have to worry because they worked great for me. I was able to see distant animals with great detail and clarity and didn't see much of a difference from the heavier and more expensive binoculars of my fellow travelers, who were very impressed with mine, by the way. These are high quality binoculars at a very reasonable price.

  • Finally bought it

Nikon Lightweight Binoculars

I have a lot of heavy photographic gear and needed something lightweight for spotting wildlife. I lost my first pair and loved them so much I bought a second pair! The light is pretty good and I have no issues with the Nikon 7278 Travelite IV. It gets the job done, the lightest you can buy and the little carry case that comes with it easily attaches to my waist pack. one less 10X was a nice feature. I didn't want anything shorter. If you want a wide angle, you can of course consider the 7x wide

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Best Binoculars Comparison

After years of suffering from dark, dim, shaky binoculars (thanks Magnacraft) I needed two types of binoculars: the best quality I could find (1) of each Weight but less than $250 for use on the go from home (home binoculars) and (2) less than 10 ounces easily carried in travel groups for impatient family members only and perfect for late night concerts and daytime baseball games (After careful study From the reviews and comments I've come to the conclusion that there are brilliant experts who…
