Car care work apron

I work in the café in the evenings and wash a lot of dishes. I've used this on my apron with Tech Wash and it's amazing at repelling all the dirt that gets splattered all the time. The apron still looks good even after a long period of use.

It's a silicone base if you know what I mean.

Some people may not know that silicone releases acetic acid as it cures. This stuff works great and is easy to use, just be prepared for slippery floors and about 3 gallons of vinegar spilled around the house. The product is great!

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Contact Seller

That's magic.

I'm pretty sure it's magic. My cotton jacket had some kind of waterproofing, but it was gone. I gave it a try and it works great. Simply place a piece of cardboard underneath, spray generously, then wipe with a rag. Wear gloves. And this thing smells sour for a few days.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

Mfg recommended it. . .

This product is listed on the Browning label. This worn jacket, probably 20-25 years old, was outdated. Soaked most of the bottle in 3 applications in 2 days including thorough coverage of pockets, pockets, seams and collar. Water like new, looks old and worn. It smells faintly of vinegar. I will move it to next season and start over.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Okay, but it changes the color of the clothes.

This definitely restores the waterproofness of my enduro motorcycle jacket. However, please note that the color of this product is Vomit Green and will change the color of your jumpsuit if your jumpsuit is not already Vomit Green. At first my jacket was light blue, but now it has turned dark turquoise. I actually like the color change, but you might not like it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • A few little things

Good sealant. The stuff works.

This impregnation breathed new life into my 20 year old oily leather rag. Completely dissolve canopy. This product will seal almost anything with a tight weave, tents, backpacks or winter workwear will benefit.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Smells like a first edition BDU

Used a bottle of this on a new Carhartt. Does its job well in low light. The rain dripped well even after several hours of exposure. Not great in heavy torrential rain, it's like standing in one of those downpours where 12 heads hit you in every direction. The smell reminds me of when I got my first BDU clearance in basic training and it was a few weeks late.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Crumpled

Ideal for hunting and camping.

This company makes excellent waterproofing materials for non-cotton clothing. This cotton product is very convenient and quicker to use than rubbing beeswax into cotton. It seems to work just as well but doesn't look like even coverage cosmetically and has color variations. Not as good for casual but trendy urban wear as for camping gear. Ideal for hunting and camping.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Expensive

Great product, need more detailed instructions.

Works great! Think Elmer's white clothes glue. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but instead of gluing things together, it forms a waterproof barrier on clothing. Smells like Elmer's, like a wax coating. Must be reapplied after every wash. Be sure to wash clothing before application, apply product and rub into fabric, turn inside out and tumble dry only 80% dry. Then let it air dry!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Will do
