Smart and portable device

Omnigrid portable chopping board with brackets on one side is a very smart device. I'm amazed at how easy it is to be able to take it with me anywhere, whether at home or on vacation. I enjoy using it at home when I don't feel like using a large ironing board to iron or pulling out a heavy cutting mat to cut fabric. After I've finished ironing it I leave it open to cool so it doesn't warp the cutting mat or the board itself. I can recommend this article with a clear conscience! :)

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Large cut and iron travel pad

This is the perfect size for my Dritz Omnigear Project Case, 13.5" x 14" x 2.5", which I take with me when I go Working on a project away from home Personally I cut from a ruler rather than a mat but the markings are easy to read on the mat This is a great size for cutting those dreaded half square triangles or other small details but I would I don't have to worry about cutting strips with it. Actually intended for pieces of fabric that have already been cut out. Iron Side' also works well with

It doesn't work without it!

I am a hand stitcher and use Linda Franz's Inklingo system to prepare most of my patches for sewing. I've been working with 1" hex wrenches for about six months now and use this bag for more than just ironing or cutting. I use a lap table on my porch or in front of the TV and this bag allows me to use an ironing board. I use a Fiskar Fingertip rotary cutter to finicky cut or pattern black fabric as needed. If I need to stop for a moment or longer, I just close the bag and the velcro keeps the…

Fits easily in a large bag

This is the perfect size for a regular sized bag that will fit a regular sized sheet of paper. to Nevada. I would really like to have it with me. I could cut and iron in a hotel room. I had everything else with me, but nothing that would be useful with my cutter and travel iron. The fabric on the outside looks very expensive and is easy to wash. Looks and feels more expensive than it is. In other words, it's not cheaply made and will fall apart with a single use. The pressure pad isn't flimsy…

Pros
  • Handy size for trimming, sewing on warp threads or cutting patterns
Cons
  • Large and bulky

How could I not know such things existed?! This is just a wonderful product. I use it almost every day now. Since I'm working at a tiny table at the moment (okay, it's a TV stand), I have to be very careful with space. My regular cutting mat is larger than the surface of the tray, and while it still works fine, the entire tray needs cleaning. This wonderful combination of cutting and pressing is small enough that I could even leave my sewing machine on the tray. I just slide it to the very edge

  • Ideal for work and travel

Perfect and convenient cutting mat

I bought these because I was tired of constantly getting up from the sewing machine to go to the cutting station and then only to come back to the ironing station later the sewing machine. As I started practicing paper stapling, I had to do it more and more often, and my project took forever. Now I have a small station next to the sewing machine where I can quickly cut something and iron something small. And easy. It doesn't take up much space and I found I could rotate or fold it as needed. It

  • Easy to fold in half with tongue closure and carrying handles
