Very durable and useful

Works very well, feels sturdy, has been dropped a few times and still like new. Used to hold the flywheel to tighten the bolts until torque is very useful

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Little repairability

Works better than expected!

I can't tell you how much time and frustration this saved me! On solo work, it was very handy to be able to rotate the flywheel to access the torque converter bolts for removal.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • A few little things

A reliable tool to save you time and possible injuries.

This flywheel turning tool gets the job done. It feels solid and has never slipped or broken my joints so I'm happy with it. You can pay more for a tool but I'm not sure it works better.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

bad design; Error on first use

While the idea if the design is good - Failed work and component quality. The rolled pins that limit the travel of the pan head sheared off on first use because the spring holding the adjustment was too weak. I wanted to return; but since it's been more than 30 days, I can't. I will change it for my use. Not even worth $24; Get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Where have you been?

I have been in the automotive business (non professional) for 20 years. I have ALWAYS used some sort of crowbar or large screwdriver to turn the flywheel, usually with a bell. After killing myself by losing the torque converter bolts, I decided to order one before reinstalling the transmission. Man I'm SO glad I did! Why was I such a bull! This is money well spent! The ONLY thing this tool could have improved would probably be some guides on the sides to keep it from slipping off the flexplate…

  • Great design

Weak/doesn't bite seal - better with punch

Fragile tool, couldn't get it to bite through seal with detachable corkscrew. When I tried to hook the tool, it kept slipping and crashing onto the work surface. I even drilled a pilot hole in the seal to make it easier to bite, but it still didn't bite. I ended up taking the punch, tapping it lightly and pulling it out by hand, which was MUCH EASIER and much safer for high tolerances. machine surface. I didn't even bother trying the installation part because the new gasket was easy enough to…

Great tool High quality

I have never wanted to buy an oil seal puller before as I have only pulled oil seals in an industrial setting in the past. I usually have the gearbox on my workbench and you can use pretty much anything from a couple of large screwdrivers to a pry bar to pry the seal out. Однако недавно я хотел поработать на паре своих автомобилей дома, и я понял, что в автомобильных условиях пространство для работы очень ограничено (работа с двигателем, все еще установленным в автомобиле), поэтому я купил этот

  • Stylish and modern design

Time to add to my tool collection

I should have bought one of these a long time ago. I have a special head that fits the crank head for small block chevy engines and one for big block old engines, but they only work if the balancer is not installed e.g. B. when it's on the workbench and you're adjusting the valves or installing pistons during a bulkhead. If the engine is in a car and for example you are cranking the torque converter under it or bringing it to dead TDC or you need to manually crank the engine for some reason…

  • Satisfied so far
