Using this on lubricated caps is great, extra reassurance your cap won't come loose, if it comes loose your bearing won't be protected and if the bearing comes loose your follower stands still, cheap insurance!

After reading from other Grease Buddy Bearing Cap customers who had problems with caps coming off, one customer recommended using a bushing retainer during installation. This is basically a hard lock for unthreaded applications. I applied it to my new set of Trailer Bearing Buddies and both are still on. Works well and added that I will not have any problems in the future.

I bought this to secure the teflon packing to my driveshaft stuffing tube in an RC weight boat and it seems to work fine. My drive shaft spins at 35,000 rpm, so I had to make sure the anti-friction bushing was properly connected to the stuffing tube. Driveshafts can get hot/hot under load when spinning at 35krpm which has been proven to be around 175 degrees so far. and it's waterproof. A good product.

Worked great. Like an idiot, I initially thought that a regular blue threadlocker would fit the bushings on the shaft of my tractor I was repairing. It turns out, no, he's not cut out for that at all. I read the instructions on how to do this (cleaned the parts very carefully) and it worked on the first try. This material just can't last. Make sure your parts are exactly where you want them. Luckily, this heals fairly slowly, giving you plenty of time to level up. I use it (like pretty much everything else I buy) in my RC hobby. He locks the dogs in with the RC boat and won't let them go.
