Bottles are great. New nipples suck.

I got a set of these for my baby registry and loved them so much that I ordered this set of 4 more from Best Buy. However, my 4 week old was having trouble drinking from them. After much research I've learned there are old nipples (with the swirls in the nipple area) and new nipples (no swirls). The new ones absolutely suck. My baby was taking literally 20x longer to drink then the old nipples, despite both being a "flow 2 natural". I'm sad this company changed their nipples and I've spent…

Pros
  • Fits on spectra 2 flange
Cons
  • Glass material makes the bottle easy to break

Randomly leak good for me

Wanted to like the glass over the plastic version but the glass ones randomly leak. We are very careful to not under or over tighten and they still leak. We’ve had many frustrating experiences and are now going back to plastic

Pros
  • ‎1 Pack
Cons
  • Glass bottles may not be the best option for everyday use

Not practical - my new review

It doesn’t hold the lid, keeps opening up during feeding. And all the milk spills up on my baby’s chest. I tried to stick to it since it’s a glass and less plastic but just couldn’t take it any longer. Feels like they need to add more lid rotation. I went back to my comotomo bottles unfortunately

Pros
  • Very durable and handy
Cons
  • Glass bottles are not ideal for outdoor activities, as they can easily break

High Quality on my review.

Love these bottles, they clean very easily and the nipples are very easy to put in. I had the regular anti colic bottles before and they were hard to keep clean and would start to discolor. So glad I switched!

Pros
  • This Natural Philips Avent baby bottle is made of premium quality borosilicate glass, a BPA free material; It is heat and thermal shock resistant, so it can be safely stored in the fridge or warmed and is easy to wash and sterilize
Cons
  • The natural response nipple may not work well with babies who have trouble latching

Love these Bottles - my new review

I love these bottles because they are sturdy thick glass bottles and are very aesthetic. The silicone covers that come with the bottles are also very beautiful blue shade and I feel like these bottles were made very well. I also like that I don't have to worry about heating liquids in these bottles because they are glass and not plastic. I can steam them or boil them and not worry about the material leaking into my baby's milk. The set is super useful because it includes two big bottles and…

Pros
  • Best Glass Baby Bottle Brand winner in the 2022 What to Expect Feeding Awards
Cons
  • The natural response nipples may not fit all baby bottle brands

Good bottles, but not if also breastfeeding

I love that these are glass and durable and easy to clean. But the shape of the nipple is made so that the baby can't get a deep latch. I found it a bit problematic as I'm both breastfeeding and pumping. I switched over to Evenflow Balance+ that have a better shape for the babies mouth.

Pros
  • Anti-colic valve is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy
Cons
  • The glass bottle may be more brittle in cold temperatures

New version bottles

I have the old version bottles and the new version bottles. I can honestly say, that new version bottles are worth the every penny. I haven’t had any issues with leaking with the new bottles, however, the old version bottles would leak constantly. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Bottle makes it easy to combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast-shaped nipple that has a soft feel that mimics the shape and feel of a breast
Cons
  • The glass may be harder to clean than plastic or silicone bottles

Decent Bottles, Poor Quality Control & Customer Service

About the product itself: the glass bottles are sturdy and ergonomic in the hand. As other reviews have mentioned, threading the nipple top can be finicky; I found that I often had to re-twist the top after warming a cold bottle from the fridge. The manufacturer website says not to "over-tighten”, but even following this instruction I found that leakage was still a bit unpredictable and always turned the bottle upside down a few times to check before feeding. The new nipple style Flow 2 is…

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • The glass material makes the bottle harder to grip

need a boost in my review

I’m huge of Philips fan,I bought many items from this brand ,such as sonicare, shaver .etc…But I need to say something about these glasses.1.formula leaking without any reason from this bottle‘s lid margin.2.the glasses of this bottle was cracked but not broken.I wish they will improving these issues ,these just my suggestion.

Pros
  • ‎SCY910/01
Cons
  • Glass bottles may not be suitable for older children who can hold the bottle themselves

Great bottle, terrible nipples

We love these glass bottles by Avent. I love the nipples because ofnthe natural shape, my daughter does as well. However, after using for a month we have found that when used fresh right after a wash and formula refill they flow perfectly, but once our baby takes a burp break for 3 mins, the nipple stops flowing and ahe will continue to suck with nothing filling her belly. I always pay attention to the mL level for this reason and sometimes have to go wash the darn nipple in the middle of…

Pros
  • The natural response nipple mimics the feel of a breast, making it easier for babies to transition from breast to bottle
Cons
  • Glass bottles may not be suitable for babies who are prone to biting or chewing on their bottles

Did not receive complete product

I was not satisfied because I received all 3 flow nipples with the bottles and I was supposed to receive 2 flow nipples with the 8 oz bottles.do not recommend.

Pros
  • The glass material keeps milk or formula at an optimal temperature for longer, reducing the need for warming
Cons
  • The glass material may make the bottle slippery when wet

If you are concerned about plastic get these!

Worth the money to not have him drinking out of a plastic bottle especially since it needs to be heated a bit. Easy to hold. The only downside is the nipple cover is impossible to pop off the ring unless it is already attached to the bottle but this is really a non issue

Pros
  • The clear design allows parents to easily see how much liquid is left in the bottle
Cons
  • The natural response nipple may be more difficult to clean than other types of nipples

Perfect Bottles best in my review

Love these bottles. I’m an exclusive pumper and I love using the glass bottles for my baby. They are well made and easy to clean.

Pros
  • Baby Products
Cons
  • The glass material may be harder to hold when feeding a squirmy baby

Durable and great for baby!

Some people worry about glass bottles breaking. My son is 7 months old and we’ve never even had a crack! Super durable and we love them!

Pros
  • The bottle is compatible with all AVENT natural nipples, giving parents more options to choose from
Cons
  • The natural response nipple may not provide enough suction for babies who have a strong need to suck

Great glass bottles

We were in the market for glass baby bottles after reading articles about nano plastics leaching into the milk when heated. These are incredibly sturdy and we are even able to swap out the screw rings from our plastic avent bottles. They warm nicely in our bottle warmer and are super easy to clean.

Pros
  • The 4oz size is perfect for newborns and small feedings
Cons
  • Glass bottles may not be the best option for parents who have other children around

These fit the spectra S1/2 pump! Yay!

I actually didn’t buy these for the bottle use to feed baby but to pump directly into. We are trying to cut out plastics as much as possible and these bottles screw right into my spectra pumps parts. (I know some parts are plastic still and I can’t escape that, but every little bit counts.) i love being able to pump Into the glass bottles were directly. These are so easy to clean and store too.

Pros
  • Soft nipple my baby love it
Cons
  • Leaks occasionally
