I love this men's razor

I love this razor. I thought nothing could replace my old Norelco razor but this one certainly did. The shaving head is at least 30% wider, the pop-up trimmer is excellent. I charged the shaver and it's still working after 3 weeks of daily shaving. It's lightweight and easy to use. Pretty inexpensive.

Pros
  • This is amazing

  • No form required

Norelco should learn how to make a razor

pros1. Excellent battery technology.2. A very close shave is quickly achieved over most of the face. Disadvantages1. The on/off switch is too smooth. When shaving I now find myself constantly changing the grip on the body of the razor. I often find myself resting my thumb on the power button. If you do this, the shaver will switch off. This is very annoying.2. The new head design looks cool and probably contributes to a smoother shave. Unfortunately, Norelco cut out the plastic corners around…

Good Norelco razor for the price

I bought this razor at a low price. I've found this to work well, but depending on how you typically hold your shaver, you can experience issues with the power button as others have pointed out. There are indentations for fingers and if you use them there shouldn't be any problems. I haven't turned it off while shaving yet. I would prefer rounded edges of the head but it shaves well so just get used to it. Wash well with warm water and let dry. I would buy this again.

How to shave with a Lego cube

I have been using Norelco rotary shavers for 40 years. I get a good shave from it and it's quiet. The pop up trimmer works well and looks sturdier than some. This model lacks the extensive Bluetooth capabilities and hype of more expensive models. Although the design is missing. The square head is uncomfortable. The angle between the handle and the head is too small. The handle is thick and angular, uncomfortable to grip. The power switch is right where my thumb is and I turned it off while…

Broke after two months of use.

Worked fine until one of the heads stopped spinning and fell off. Phillips support is non-compliant and could not identify the correct replacement part. Asked for a replacement in advance and made no offer. Called for support and transfer

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Great shaver - very close shave the first time you use it

I have been using Norelco razors for many, many years. More recently I had a model 5200 with a separate trimmer instead of a drawer and it didn't give good results. This one, the 5300, has a built in pop up trimmer and once charged it worked perfectly. If anything changes I will post an update but so far this is a great product. There were some negative reviews about ergonomics, but I had no problems at all. The razor feels comfortable in the hand and the blades move smoothly to follow my face.

Very close shave, especially wet.

Pros: Fast charging, easy maintenance. Rinse thoroughly after each use to keep it clean. A close shave, especially wet or with shaving gel. The battery lasts me about two weeks. Cons: Not as ergonomic as some of their previous razors, mostly like holding a small brick, and the rubberized grip areas could be better and cover more area. Oh, and it's not pretty. When viewed from the side or from the front, it mostly looks like a large predatory insect. Appearance doesn't matter, of course, but it…

Razor Norelco 5300

It still takes some getting used to. I want to buy an old style triple head shaver. The large plastic around the trimmer heads and the large spacing between the heads makes it difficult to shave in tight spaces, such as behind a door. B. under the nose. I'm getting used to it, but I have to rotate the razor to get a close shave. There is no specified battery life between charges, but it may be because it takes longer to shave with it.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Sad device

Nice shaving and hair removal razor

I had a Norelco 6800 and couldn't find replacement blades so I've bought this razor and extra blades now so I'll be fine for at least a few more Years!. It's a bit bigger than the 6800, but it fits my hand quite snugly. Shaving is also very good. It is easy to clean as the blades fold up and cleaning can be done by running it under warm water. The price was right.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Good but not great
