New improved version doesn't really work

ORIGINAL VERSION: The smell is not like overly floral scented brands, although it is completely natural, almost medicinal, you will not smell this product very long after use. Expect a woody-earthy scent that's not meant for a body scent, but rather for therapeutic skincare. This is the only product I can use to control itching in combination with a similar shampoo. I'm used to the smell and recognize it by the brightening effect it contains. If you are looking for something on the…

Mint? tea tree oil? Why?

I have been a customer for many years and I like to use shower gel to wet my sponge when showering. I was incredibly disappointed with this new formula. They had a very good case, why did they introduce all these new things? Tea tree oil can be quite harmful to your eyes and skin, and they also added peppermint oil, which resulted in an odd smell that's definitely not the campfire smell you're used to. I'm pretty sure those essential oils are the reason it's so runny, as soon as I open the lid…

On the Fence - Shower Gel

After reading thousands of reviews on hundreds of products I decided to give this a try. The jury is still out, but for now I can say this: imagine you're working in your carpentry shop all day and get covered in sawdust, go outside, take some pine bark and rub it on yourself, and then sit by the fire for about 2-3 hours. Don't shower or smell your hand. That's exactly what it smells like. However, there is a lot associated with the smell of smoke, which can be uncomfortable for some. I'm not…

Better than lock!

I LOVE this thing. It's a bit pricey and a bit smelly, but it gets the job done naturally without making my skin feel like castile soap (I don't know about y'all, but castile soap on my skin is like nails on a chalkboard : dry and squeak.) . It doesn't lather too much, which is nice, so you know you don't have to use it too often, and it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals, so (now I have pretty good skin anyway). occasionally use it on my face in the shower. I think this is a great natural…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Doubtful

I had an old version of this drink in a green bottle that was great. Really delivered the flavor and let's face it if you buy this you get it. The new batch appears to be a little more focused on making body gels, with fragrances taking a back seat. If you thought pine tar soap was too pine or tar soap, this might be for you. But for me? I'll stock up on the old version before they're all gone.

  • All positives
Cons
  • So-so
