Bought for daughter who is almost 3 years old. I think she's still a bit young for that, although her 63 year old grandma wasn't impressed either :) Many of the shapes are too small and too close together to make good creations. It's a cute concept, but the actual placement seems more suited to older kids who want to create real food creations. Despite the fact that my baby has a very long attention span, it was too difficult.

My only complaint is that she is 3 years old and had a hard time sliding the cake tin onto the rail in the oven but other than that she loved it. So I went through two of them. In the first, we couldn't trigger red light or ringing all the time. I sent one back and received another as a replacement. We couldn't get the second one to work either. It turns out that you have to hold the button down for a bit before the indicator turns red and starts ringing.
