Weights missing from test, measurement and inspection

These weights are currently unavailable and the manufacturer has made no effort to bring them back to market. We bought several sets last year and they did not match the photo or the description. Something funny is going on here.

Pros
  • Calibration
Cons
  • Fragile

Inaccurate and well packaged

This item was delivered to the wrong address through no fault of the seller. I ordered a load of 1000 grams, instead I received a load of 500 grams, 1 box. Box utilitarian, plastic blue. The weights appeared to be used which means they had scratches and dents. I did not return the set for accuracy reasons, but because I need a 1000 gram weight. The plastic pick holder looks cheap and doesn't hold up well. Science class, but not for anything serious.

Pros
  • Check, measure and inspect
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Great kits for school

I bought 10 engineering and physics kits for experiments and projects. I checked the accuracy of all of them and they were all within a tenth of a gram of the printed weight (this is my scale's tolerance, they can be more accurate). Of the 80 weights, only one had a slight dent and three noticeable scratches, but they were still accurate. 8 out of 10 hulls were cracked or damaged. One had a half-cent sized hole and the other had the bottom completely under a 200 gram weight. They are so poorly…

Pros
  • Calibration weights
Cons
  • Discontinued
