Has a design flaw. in Power Transmission Products

I have used these sliding blocks on my 3D printer and after repeated use I noticed that some of the C-rings or snap rings, whatever you want to call them, held enough stock used to scratch the poles they slide on. I can't say for sure if I lined them up correctly, but I still think the designer should have considered the damage they can cause at slightly different angles.

Pros
  • Size: 30x34x20mm
Cons
  • No Automatic

The bearing block is good but the bearings are not that good.

The support blocks looked ok at first, although I wanted them to be fully threaded. When I first started trying and using these threaded holes, they weren't straight. I had a screw hole that was machined about 10 degrees. I could handle crappy bearings if the pedestals were ok. But that's junk. Pillows are bad, bearings in them are bad. Only one bearing was in good condition. One has bearings that barely move and the other two have a bearing that doesn't seem to touch the smooth bar at all. Atโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Weight: 185 g Scope of delivery: 4 linear ball bearings.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

As seen in the video, the black plastic bearing is how it's supposed to work. Not too tight, not too loose, just right. The first bearing I move after the plastic is very loose and the second very tight. The pictures show that one of the bearings came without the black piece of metal holding the bearing on one side. Each bearing should have two small black pieces of metal to hold the bearing inside. Just so everyone knows, I rode the bearings up and down a metal rod about 30 times or more toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Material: Aluminum
Cons
  • Out of fashion
