Light is good for protective equipment

Bought, was satisfied, soft, good ventilation, hardens on impact. However, I returned it because my friend advised me to make it a little stiffer, not as flexible and a little thicker. So I upgraded to CE Level 2

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Good fit, more flexible

They are a little smaller than the original picks on my Joe Rocket Speedmaster jacket but fit well in pockets. They are definitely more flexible, so a bit more comfortable. Hoping never to see how much they protect compared to the original pads.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

They are viscoelastic armor plates.

This is a beautiful, flexible and comfortable leg protector. They fit very well into my IXS pants and adjust as my body moves. They are well ventilated and I forget they are there. I didn't have the "possibility" to do a functional test. What is good.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Excellent back protection

It was a bit long but very easy to trim. Now it fits perfectly, no bending or bulging. a little on the back. Seems to be fine in 70 degree weather or less. but I liked it because all my riding jackets have a slightly smaller pocket size than most other back protectors that cannot be cut off.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very comfortable but very big. Measure your knee pads first!

They are much more comfortable than the ones that came with my Bull It riding jeans but as you can see in the photos they are much larger than the knee pad pocket area of these jeans. They end up flexing them and feeling great on the road. I'm just worried if they'll still do their job if it needs to be folded down a bit. I'm not sure if it's possible to crop them, so I didn't.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Good enough for me the best in motorcycles and strength sports

I bought a pair of armored jeans to wear while riding my motorcycle. I took them home and noticed they didn't have hip pads. I needed something small that would fit in the small inside pockets meant for the hip pad in the jeans I bought. They fit the bill and don't move in the inside pocket I put them in. A hip blow in a motorcycle accident can be very painful so I bought these and used them. They're not very thick and fairly soft, but I'm not sure I need a hard thigh pad. Generally not bad for

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Gotchas

I was confused about D30 and stopped there.

So I thought D30 was a type of material not a brand - my fault. I looked for the D30 Thigh Protector on Revain and quickly found it. I have a few other pieces of authentic D30 protection (knees, elbows and back) but thought it would probably make sense to use the leg protection pockets in my breeches as well. In any case, this material is very similar to D30 and appears to share many of its properties. It could be a little more foamy and a little less rubbery, but based on the feel alone I…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some cons
