Great for the price

This tip has been on our Cummins engines for a number of years now and it's holding up great. We actually recommended it to a few friends.

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Not bad

Not worth the money Not good quality Save money

Looked good for the first few months, now it's starting to rust even after polishing. Not great quality, won't buy again

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

Didn't fit my 4 " MBRP exhaust. Finally broke down.

Didn't fit my 4" MBRP exhaust. One bolt ended up breaking trying to tighten it after the steel twisted trying to match my exhaust.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Didn't fit my 4 " exhaust snugly when screwed in.

Loose on my 4" exhaust when screwed in as tight as possible without breaking the welds. I'll put this tip in screw the exhaust so I don't lose them while driving.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • So far so good

Get some screws or a welder.

I tightened the bolts as hard as I could, even pulled on the nut, it loosened carelessly. When I put it on I felt comfortable, but I was very excited to start, I didn't check it properly and didn't pull on it. Fell on the road 1 mile from home. I ended up using two screws. Lots of extra work.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Requires socket

As many say, it's not stuck.

As many have said, the 4 inch pipe is not tight. After turning it 1/2" with a ratchet and bending everything, I had to grind down the entire nut/bolt and clamp it with a conventional exhaust clamp. I wouldn't buy it again. Took 1/2 hour from 2 minutes to install.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Best price vs the competition

You can't beat this price tip, especially when compared to similar offerings from MBRP, AFE and other well-known brands that are three times the price. The gist of what I've found is that a washer needs to be added to the lag bolt as there isn't enough clearance to use the final collet. A ring spanner must be used. Also, this is great advice and I will be buying two more for my next truck project.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
