📷 Rokinon Cine CV12M-E 12mm T2.2 Cine Fixed Lens for Sony E-Mount & Other Cameras Review

I used Rokinon 14mm 2.8 but after the first shot with this 12mm I never used 14mm again. I didn't see any distortion so it's perfect for me.

I like this lens. I mainly use it on Sony A7s and it works great. Crystal clear glass. I like the wide angle with no distortion. I use this lens when using my Ronin.

Great lens. Not a fast point-and-shoot, but incredible clarity for landscape and astrophotography. Also very sharp, like a manual lens at fast shutter speeds.

Love this little lens. I pair it with a Sony FS5 and it's really good for gimbal and steadicam work. It has a short hyperfocal distance, which means it's easier to get your subject in focus without having to constantly switch focus.

Works as advertised. Photos and videos look good. It takes a while to learn how to use a manual lens once you get used to everything automatic, but it's worth it. Makes you want to learn something new and gives you full control to capture the picture you want. I love this lens.

I have had very good experiences with this lens so far. I use it on a stabilizer for shooting video. I also use it for general landscape or real estate photography. This is not an electronic lens, so you have to work hard to get satisfactory results. I recommend that you watch some tutorials and reviews on YouTube before you buy it. It's manual, so not a simple point-and-shoot lens.

bought from revain and very happy with this lens. It works fine on my Sony A6000. This is manual focus, but I usually set the focus to infinity and shoot. I'm a casual hobbyist and I just love the image quality. There is some distortion with a lens this wide but I like it and if not I can fix it in the post. Great for landscape shots, but probably not for you if you want to shoot action scenes or sports. The build quality seems to be very good.

Product delivered as expected. I've only used it a little so far, but here's my take. Excellent build quality. Smooth focus and aperture rings. clear images. Like a snap-on lens cap. Minimal barrel distortion at the frame edges. How could it be better. Communicate with the camera. Just a bit. This lens is similar to the lensless one in that the camera understands what's attached to it. So the camera (I have a Sony a6500) knows neither the focal length nor the aperture.
