I purchased this item for a friend on the west coast, I live in upstate New York. In any case, it doesn't work. She didn't know how to connect it herself and waited until recently to connect the DVD player. The light doesn't even come on, indicating it's powered. Needless to say the return period has expired so I lost money and feel cheated. When I pay for something I expect it to work and don't expect a short period of time to return the item only to find the return policy has been cancelled…

It works. Simple basic setting. I'm not sure if I'll use features like LAN and USB, but who knows?

We have DVDs (gift items) that our old Apex can't read. She can read this Blu-ray. The picture quality is very good. The included HDMI cable appears to be Vivitar, six feet long with gold contacts. That plus the capabilities of the set justify the cost. I disputed the price because I had to pay for shipping, taxes, conversion and conversion fees. If I had bought in Canada, it would have already shipped in bulk and I wouldn't have to convert the currency. This seemed like the best deal on the…

Works great/no problem; I love the picture

I've been using it for a few weeks, watched a few Blu-ray movies and it works as it should. Easily connects to your TV with the included cable. I don't plan to connect it to the wired internet. There are about 40 buttons on the remote, more specifically, in a space about two inches by six inches, if any, so it's cramped. While I don't yet know how to use them all, I quickly figured out what you need to know to turn it on and off, play a movie in it, pause, fast forward, eject, etc. I ran a test
