great reproductions

What I love most are great reproductions. Foils are transferred very clearly. I also like that it transfers straight to your computer without the need for a memory card. I have a huge number of slides from the past and it would be expensive to produce them commercially. This solves the problem. Cons: It's a bit slow, you load 4 slides at once. Light and color adjustments are limited, but I have a program to deal with that. I highly recommend.

It works for office electronics

Many years ago I bought another scanner that did NOT work. I was nervous, but it worked out great. It quickly scans and saves any negative or slide to a destination file of your choosing. In less than a month, I've used this product to scan and rename nearly 5,000 slides and negatives from 20 to 45 years ago. It takes a little while as each negative strip (up to 6 images) or slide holder (up to 4 slides at a time) needs to be loaded into the cassette and inserted into the scanner, but it worked

Perfect for my needs

Just what I needed! Some other reviews said the software was difficult to start (Windows 10) but installed with little effort for me. Scans simple slide images quickly and easily. I have already used for hundreds of images. Highly recommended for the economical option to scan 35mm slides! I would like to find another suitable tray with smaller viewing holes for scanning 110 slides, but I couldn't. Here they flicker, of course, but are overexposed because the plastic doesn't block the light…

You get what you pay for

A simple, no-frills scanner. You have to manually load slides or negs into a fragile plastic holder, scan them, and feed them one at a time. The low resolution (around 2 megapixels) makes this device suitable for scanning old slides if you don't plan on enlarging them into photos. It's good for slideshows. The RGB color correction revealed nothing special; Instead I used Photoshop to correct the color and lighting. It is not a separate entity; You need to connect the device to the PC. I've also

Great product and definitely worth the price

My old slide collection hasn't been viewed in years as I lost my old viewer long ago and projectors are expensive. It doesn't make a copy as detailed as a dedicated scanner, but if you're looking for decent digital versions of your old negatives and slides then it does a great job. As far as I know, it's not technically a scanner. Rather, it is a camera that takes a picture of your negative or slide and saves the result in JPEG format. The old foil gets stuck when using the manual stack loader,

He restored a valuable photo

I had an old slide that was not used in a digital service and I didn't want to pay for it again. So I got this primarily to make a slide. One day I might want to restore more of the old slides or negatives so I think it's worth keeping as they've really gone up in price. Pros: Plugs into a USB port to view on a computer, which I like. The photo quality is good. Editing tools are available, but I liked the first shot. The slide holder worked well. A brush is included and works to clean the…

Works but poor quality.

I bought this scanner to digitize several boxes of old Kodachrome slides. I don't think this is the product to get the job done. In the end I returned it. If you just want to digitize slides without concern for image quality, this will work. But the quality is not very good as the scans are of very low resolution. Considering the price, this is good value for money. But the quality of the scan convinced me that I needed a better (more expensive) machine to do what I wanted with these slides…

Unexpected performance

Many old family slides from the 1960's were stored for years. I noticed that many others had the same situation. Revain offers a range of products for digitizing film and slides. DIGITNOW has 2 of these products, I picked one for around $43, at that price there's not much to lose and if it's unusable it can be returned. I was positively surprised. There are two film holders, one for film negatives and one for mounted slides. I tried the negative first, it worked fine but was tedious to load…
