We mark our seedlings, works great

Instead of writing on plastic pots with a marker, we add a piece of masking tape to write on. The yellow background provides a great contrast to the black markings. It is waterproof and easily lasts a season. In addition, it is easy to remove. Now that we have it, we find more and more uses, such as the outdoor improvisation "Post It”. Thank you Scotch for a great product.

i love this stuff for masking tape

This tape gives the sharpest line of masking tape I've ever used. It's also great for protecting any surface you work with. I left it in the project for a MONTH and it's easy to remove. It's not good to tape someone's wrists together (duct tape still rules). It is very good for its purpose. You can also use it to create removable labels as it has no writing on it. Obtain!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

This is not standard tape. Not suitable for varnished wood.

This is not standard tape. It's more like plastic tape. It wasn't good for my looks. I wanted to use it on a painted barn but felt it wasn't the right product. This can work on siding or glass, but not on painted wood. By not working I mean it didn't stick to the surface well and didn't snap the spool well. However, the rough surface of the tape worked well.

This is an unreal band!

I have a pontoon boat and the pontoons have a protective coating and I had to put a protective railing on the side of each pontoon and I had to mask off the area above and below the railing. applied so i can clean the area and remove the backing, i only had to use the paint cleaner in the 3 1/2" area where the backing should be and not get it on anything else, this tape works great for me there there is no leak. I clean this tape perfectly with this tape, it is unrealistic, I was very worried…

Expensive tape, no better than other products

I didn't like the product. First you need to use scissors or a knife. It should be shortened. Standing on a ladder trying to hold a nearly 2 inch wide roll, pulling out the tape yourself and trying to cut it made it very difficult to use. Then it just sticks to itself and the tape doesn't have to be like that. I don't think it's any better than regular masking tape, except when you're not using it I think it could handle a little rain. The color is still visible in many places, and $9 a roll is

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • There are problems

Works on almost any material, even outdoors.

Adheres well to almost anything (wood, plastic, drywall, painted surfaces). Once applied, it doesn't seem to mind the weather (seems to be reliably waterproof, although that might not be the case if you keep submerging it in water). The tape has built in tension lines to break the square, they are not visible unless the tape is stretched. Slightly more difficult to glue when the target surface is already wet, although a quick rub of the sleeve didn't fix anything for me. Usually comes off…

Edited again after I had to stock up on a few cases of this tape. The price has almost doubled in just over a year, which would have added about $500 to my total for this order. (Spoiler alert, this isn't going to happen). This latest increase is $3 per roll more than last August, and the price per roll in August was $2 more than 5 months earlier. I have checked this in my order history to see exact dates and prices. My Opinion: This is a 5 star band for the price of 1 star. I'm fully aware…
