Died less than a year old

Worked well for 10 months then died. I just sent the company a receipt and was hoping for the best. I'll keep you posted on how it's going. After 2 business days. No response from the manufacturer other than an email acknowledging receipt of my request. For now, I would advise staying away from Seaflow products.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

The threads do not mate with anything other than the supplied fittings.

The threads are not compatible. I spent over an hour at a hardware store with knowledgeable staff trying to find something to match his carvings. We could not. I had to use the reducer that came with it, take PEX and build from there. It was expensive and a waste of my time and the hardware store staff.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some defects

Works great with water pumps

I was hesitant to purchase as this pump appeared to be better value for money compared to other pumps but I was not disappointed. It works as promised and appears to be of the same quality as other more expensive pumps. I bought a spare hand bilge pump and it pumped six feet and twelve with no problem. Ven came with filters and connectors.

Great for boating and sailing

Installs in tool box with toggle switch and fuse, then 20 feet of 14g wire attached to alligator clips. I mount the box in the back of my truck, attach the hoses, connect them to the truck or trailer battery, and use them to pump water from 15 and 55 gallon drums into my road trailer's fresh water tank. It takes 7-8 minutes to empty 15 gallon drums. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Lots of fun

Cheap junk that doesn't last long.

This is the second Sea Flow pump we have used in a year. I contacted them directly about the first time guarantee, no call back, no help at all. Went ahead and got a replacement pending and now it's bad. All wiring on the boat checked, all ok, voltage good, no corrosion, no deposits or sand in the water lines. It sucks and the support is even worse. Use SureFlow or something, it won't take long.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good pressure, price and quiet

I replaced my Pentair Shurflo Baster II with this Seaflo. The price influenced my purchase. I was a little worried about the drop in PSI and GPM, but that doesn't match the old pump. Installation was easy, threaded ends match Shurflo fittings. The base isn't the same anymore, so new holes have to be drilled and 5200 old spots have to be drilled. Let's face it, the marine environment is not good, if I can live with this pump for a few years, it will be a win!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Volume

This article is AWESOME!

I was struggling to find a low flow pump that wasn't just designed for pond use. I even tried to adapt one for line use. Total failure. So I decided to try this even though there is more volume than I need. I was afraid that this would waste energy and overwork due to the restriction I had placed on the river. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it only cycles if I limit the output current. It feels very solid and was easy to assemble. I love it!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • Some bugs

Works perfectly! im sport

UPDATE: Apparently the number provided on the website was incorrect. I tried calling one of the other numbers listed and didn't even leave a message, but they called the next day after seeing the missed call. They apologized for the lack of response and immediately sent me a new pump with a return RMA to send the old one back so they could fix it. Worked in a typical RV/trailer setup for 3 months and then just quit. Had to reinstall my old leaky pump to get me. Called the manufacturer in the…

Pleasantly surprised.

Our Jabsco 4.5 GPM mud pump died on our boat. My wife and I were reluctant to replace our current pump with the same one and it only tops out at 3 GPM. I liked that it came with a 4 year warranty and for almost a quarter of the price I thought we'd give it a try. The instructions were simple and detailed. It comes without a fuse holder and requires a 20A fuse. It came with a water shield which is optional on another brand. Installation was easy. I turned it on and was surprised how quiet it is…
