Easy to carve, best in stamps and ink pads

Slightly harder than the pink speedball material which I find too soft making it pretty much perfect. Great Value!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Safety

Good product in wood stamps

This was my first attempt at carving, something on my wish list to try. I dived in and bought supplies. Seems to be a good product, the rubber took the design well, it was easy to cut.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some imperfections

I can not stop! on stamps

Very easy to cut. I made my own stamps for a junk magazine. It was a lot. I made this little coffee mug and a few others. This was my first carving experience and I don't think I did badly as a beginner.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Blank

Makes great prints

I'm not very good at what good blocks are, but I've had no trouble working with them. Parts are a little harder to come by than in Speedball, but it takes patience. I cut out one of mine and did a test and compared to the competition you can't see any difference in the prints. It's also thick and feels comfortable in the hand as it doesn't bend easily in the hand. I love them, super good for the quality. I highly recommend!

Pros
  • Stamps and ink pads
Cons
  • Doubt

Not impossible but definitely difficult to work with

Please note that thermal transfer will not work with this product. However, I have successfully used acetone to transfer the images to the block. Otherwise, this synthetic rubber tears a little easier than a branded product and doesn't hold the line as well either. I bought it based on the price, hoping it would be a cheaper alternative. This is sufficient in a pinch, but makes the cutting process less pleasant and the result not as good.

Pros
  • Scrapbooking and stamping
Cons
  • Some errors

Great product, easy to cut!

I bought these for a teenager who is in the process of cutting his own stamps after trying it out in high school art class. They're a lot less expensive than some of the other offerings on Revain and definitely better than local craft stores, where they average $4.50 per stamp block. If you're careful, you can carve on both sides of the block to increase the number of stamps. I want to design a block of wood with metal or plastic edges so the die can slide in and out to make double threadingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrapping
