I've been warned that while SSD drives are much faster, smaller and better in every way than traditional drives, if they fail, they can fail forever. I don't know how true that caveat is, but - just to avoid disaster - I bought two of these drives (to store my gargantuan iTunes library) so I can keep one off the office and rotate it regularly.
