I repair my power tools and this puller is great for removing bearings on circular saws, routers and drill bits to replace them. If you're working with your own small power tool, you'll need this kit or one similar to safely remove the armature and other shaft bearings.

Surprisingly good quality for the price. Good workmanship and machined items. One thing not listed in the description is the size - it is best used for 1/2" to 3" diameter gears and bearings. We use it to dismantle alternators and small electric motors. It's the perfect size for this type of work.

I ordered this to remove a 50mm OD bearing from a shaft. The specs say this puller is good up to 58mm, but it kept slipping out of my stock. In a pinch, there isn't much room in storage to buy a cage. I'd say it's good to around 35-40mm max. Nice little kit for small bearings but I returned it for a larger model.

I was skeptical but this thing worked like a champ pulling the pulley and wearing out my Dewalt miter saw anchor! I couldn't have fixed it without it! The only problem I had is that the point on the bolt to tighten and pull out the bearing needs to have a flat surface.
