The product is easy to install and looks good, but the set screw that holds the knob in place does not stay tight. This is a Phillips screw that is constantly being loosened, causing the knob to wobble slightly. I'll probably have to send it back. I'm not sure if I got a bad one or if they're all like that. r

Deserved 5 star product worth every penny I paid! quality you can feel; has some weight (no cheap metal or useless plastic), the ball valve works perfectly. Longer and stronger metal arm that easily adjusts water flow and most importantly, easy to install. It is a pity that the description does not indicate that it comes with Teflon tape. I made a special trip to the accessory store before this part arrived for the BAND ONLY. :(

I love this check valve. I have this on my hand shower and love it. My son broke his hip and couldn't turn the water on and off after showering. I turned on the water, set the temperature, turned off the faucet and left it at that. It worked perfectly so he didn't use as much water and was able to manage on his own. No leaks, I'm glad I bought it. Makes my dog easier to wash in my bath, no need to reset the water temperature between shampoos.

I have an old house with a double faucet shower. Due to the water shortage in California, I can now reduce the water a bit by stopping the water while lathering and then turning it back on to rinse without losing my temperature setting. The only comment I have is that this valve makes a lot of noise at about 1/2 volume. I believe that the flow of water passing a partially closed valve causes cavitation and hence noise. Not too strenuous, but it would be better if it wasn't.

This is a great 1/4 turn ball valve. It fitted perfectly into my apartments with a new shower installation design. Being made entirely of metal is a desirable trait. It works well from wide open to closed. Make sure you take into account that this valve is not designed to shut off the water completely as the excess pressure needs to be relieved and not allowed to build up in your plumbing which would destroy the hot/cold water valve(s). I bought these to install right in front of the shower head. The o-ring in the flow restrictor of our showerheads wears out quicker than expected (probably due to the quality of our water) and causes pressure issues over time. I decided to remove the o-rings and instead use these mechanical valves to control the flow. High quality valve complete with rubber washer and sealant. Installation was easy, no leaks. My only complaint is that it gets noisy when I start restricting the flow. So be aware
