Poor performance at 60Hz

This overpriced KVM runs well at 30Hz, often flickers at 50kHz and has never gone below 60Hz. Should have sent it back before the return deadline.

Pros
  • Enhanced: Comes with 2 USB 1.1 ports for keyboard and mouse and 4 USB 3.0 ports. Connect multiple USB peripherals at the same time, e.g. B. Flash drives, printers, etc. Supports 7.1 HD digital audio and separate 3.5mm stereo audio. Auto scan function for quick system display and monitoring. Micro USB firmware update capability for future compatibility
Cons
  • No paint required

Works great: Accessories and consumables

This was the only KVM I could find that had USB 3.0 and 4K 60Hz. It works great allowing me to use an extra monitor between PC, PS4 and Raspberry Pi. It also comes with a bunch of cables.

Pros
  • Plug and Play: Plug n Play, no driver installation required. Easy system selection via front panel selection buttons or user programmable keyboard hotkeys
Cons
  • Some minor things

You get what you pay for when it comes to kvm

After trying various kvm switches that claimed to have a copy of edid, this is the only one I got. I have a multi monitor setup for work and only need one display to switch for my single display hosts like my personal laptop and raspberry pi. The other kvm switches wreaked havoc on my multi-monitor setup every time I switched because they didn't send a screen emulation signal to all connected hosts, so the switch essentially unplugged and plugged the display back in. This KVM switch seems to…

Pros
  • Ultra HD 4K 60Hz and Auto EDID Switches: compatible with resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K 60Hz with HDR and 18Gbps video bandwidth. Enables automatic edid detection for easy display detection
Cons
  • Not bad
