The 5D Mk II already suffers from myopia. This eyecup exacerbates the situation. The rubber rim is quite stiff and doesn't pinch. This pushes the eye so far back when using glasses that only about 50% of the viewfinder is visible.

I got this because the eyecup that comes with the camera is not very comfortable so it almost cups my eye and fits very well. This product is originally designed for people who wear glasses and I must say that using the camera with glasses is still not that comfortable and frankly, the eyepiece that comes with the camera feels better with glasses. But even without glasses it is very good. So if you wear glasses, be aware that they are not as comfortable.

Much better than the Hoodman I once had and which many other photographers have always used. This eyepiece snaps into the eyecup viewfinder and remains locked. You are over a month old. I think this is the best I've ever bought so I ended up getting another one for my Sony camera and it fits my Sony a77ii perfectly.
