This is one of several brands of unofficial DualShock adapters and it works really well. I use them to connect my DualShock 4 to PC and PS3 and they both work fantastic. When playing Steam games, some games require you to connect before launching or restarting Steam for it to work, e.g. B. Warframe. Overall this thing is cool and a lot cheaper than the official adapter.

I bought two of these a few months ago to play Nintendo Switch with my PS4 controllers. I've finally learned to use them. Setup was easy and the controller works BUT you can't put both adapters in the switch at the same time. The adapters are too bulky to fit into every USB slot for the Switch. I wish I had known about this before I bought two. UPDATE: sorry. I completely forgot about the USB port on the back of the Switch. You can drop it there and use the second one that way.

I was able to get my PS3, PS4 and XBOX One X controller to sync wirelessly to the adapter as well as the wired Xbox 360 controller and all of the above Controller in wired mode. It didn't do anything for the Nintendo Switch. He assigned a controller number to the PS3 and Xbox controllers, but they didn't register with the system and we couldn't play games or control the system. Switch didn't recognize it.
