It took a while for the pup and it worked!

This was a gift for a work colleague who just had a puppy. The puppy made no sound, just sat by the back door. It often went unnoticed, and there could be a few mistakes! It's been about a week and a half. Just yesterday he rang the bell not just once, but three times! He had to get out! My colleague is very happy - I think her dog too!

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Hard to say

Very disappointed with the product. I think it might work for humans but not for dogs. Our dog is great at using the touch sensitive Mighty Paw Smart Bell and this one was supposed to be her water bell but it doesn't suit her; This requires touching the center of the bell, which is easy for humans but not for dogs.

Good quality bell - doors, gates and ramps

We are teaching our pup to ring the bell to go outside. The bell has a nice crisp sound and is relatively easy for my dog to ring. However, my other dog thinks it is a toy and puts it in his mouth to put in his dog bed. We had to 3D print the design to hold the bell in place. It's a great bell, but what makes it even better is the platform it sits on and can be floor/wall/gate/door mounted.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The perfect pet bell in the doorbells

I bought this for my cat because I didn't want him to think hanging by the screen is a good way to ask outside. When he jumped onto the screen, I just ignored him for a few minutes, and then when I knew he wanted to leave, I asked him in a singsong voice if he wanted to leave while I took his paw and rang the bell. It was only a few days before I heard this little bell coming from the bedroom and when I looked down the hall it was sitting right next to it. The larger button fits the paw well…

Dog Uses Doorbell

Teaching our little Chiviny how to use the doorbell was easy. It's very cute when he rings the bell. He likes to stretch out his front paws. I'm not sure he fully understands what the call means. He usually trembles when we leave to say "I want to go too!" or "Don't forget me!" instead of "I need to go to the bathroom!". But sometimes he uses it for its intended purpose. At least he doesn't abuse it or eat it. We also have bells that hang on the doorknob. The dog doesn't touch her. I think it's

The best coach!

We LOVE that bell! We bought this for our puppy and potty training. We got him when he was about 5 months old and he doesn't whine or bark to tell you he has to go. He used to just approach the door quietly and pee on the door (or anywhere) when no one noticed him. Potty training didn't go well. He was from the Humane Society, so we don't know what his life was like before we caught him. After a few days of training with the bell he used it and it was the best! The only downside is we have a…

We created a monster.

We have created a monster. I bought this for crap and giggles just to see if we can teach our cat to use it as a treat bell. We rang the bell and then gave her treats. After about a week she realized that the bell = is a treat. We continued our training, and recently she started ringing the bell herself. Success! Except she realized that when she rings, we'll come running, so now she rings ALL. heals? Dean! pets? Dean! game time? Dean! We need to make sure she can't call us at any time of the…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
