Best lip protection

Soft lips are the best lip protection I have ever used. SPF for summer to protect lips from sunburn and winter for chapped lips. But I use it all day. love it

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Excellent lip balm, the best of balms and moisturizers

Very hard to find in stores. Luckily I found her at Revain. This is an emollient lip balm with a mild peppermint scent that is good for soothing chapped, irritated lips. I recommend it as a good balm

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

Nostalgic Skincare

I forgot about this brand until my boyfriend and I started talking about the best lip balms. So I figured if anyone had soft lips, it's Revane. And now peppermint. Added bonus for the holidays. I bought 4 and put them all in stockings.

That's exactly what I wanted.

I like this lip balm because it is very soft. It continues without tugging at my cracked lips or tearing them apart like some brands. I also like the taste. It's not sweet or fruity-bubbly like a 14-year-old kid. Can I give the whole family as a stocking.

Pros
  • Great overall effect
Cons
  • No effect

Leaves with a disgusting taste

Firstly I don't eat my lip balm but it naturally oozes into my mouth after a few uses and also when eating and drinking. I bought these thinking they would fit as I have used Softlips Vanilla with no lingering bad taste. Unfortunately, it tastes just as disgusting as the last 3 sunscreen lip balms I threw in the trash. What a waste of $. So I went out of my way to buy 2 tiny sticks of chemical flavored and candy flavored lip balm. How hard is it to mask the smell of SPF? But I do need SPF…

Pros
  • Balms & Moisturizers
Cons
  • Only available in black

It's okay, but keep looking

A few months ago I never used Softlips. On a whim, I got a tube of their Naturals Manuka Honey Balm, which is one of the best lip balms I've ever tried (I'd be sad if they discontinued it!). I knew they didn't have the same ingredients as Naturals, but a super mint-scented balm or gloss with SPF is the holy grail for me, so I gave it a shot. I've been using COBigelow Ultra Mentha Balm for years - haven't found anything that beats it in terms of softness, long-lasting fragrance and…
