Thought it would help get rid of squeaky door seals

I'm sure this is a great protective coating for door seals but my goal was to reduce or eliminate the squeaking around my car's door seals. Doesn't work for this.

Pros

Very fluid Good for car care

After you unplugged, it was very difficult to unplug. This product is liquid like water. Make sure you have a microfiber cloth with you to wipe up any spills or drips on the inside or paint. Otherwise it's better than using my splint to protect the seals. Time will tell if that helps.

  • Confident

Excellent product for preventive maintenance

Works as it should. Porsche recommends conditioning all seals once a year. I use it on a '98 Porsche Boxster and a Chevy Traverse family car. Don't wait for your seals to dry before using this product, it's not a miracle cure. If your seals are cracked, replace them.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • boring packaging

Went like clockwork.

We have driven the car for a few years and the rubber lining is a little tight, just a little dry. Bought because of the reviews and ease of use. The rubber lining on the car looks great, no longer sticks and lasts a long time. I would definitely buy this again.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Obsolete

Did the job - interior care

I had an old Nikon camera that was sticky. It helped get rid of the stickiness, but after a few uses. The only issue I would call a problem is the size of the bottle. It looked like a large bottle in the picture, but I was surprised at how small it was. But then again, the fault might be mine, as I suspected when looking at the picture.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

DIY car maintenance

If you maintain and prepare your own car, it is a good thing. We remember larger items like wax, wheels, etc. Rubber seals on doors and windows also need maintenance. They are very expensive to replace. These rubber conditioners will help extend the life of your rubber. A very economical way to store this part of your car.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Weight

It's a tip! Best in Interior Care

Sonax makes good things. The only thing I have against this applicator is the applicator tip itself. Ideal if you have a flat and fairly wide surface to apply on. However, most lanes around cars are circular. The grip of the tip on the rounded strips is not smooth and it keeps slipping off. Instead, I would use a brush or sponge applicator for more leverage.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

Almost like a new rubber seal

I am impressed with this product. Living in New England with severe winters, I used other products to keep the door seals from freezing the doors. I ended up with black rubber seals that had dried to a sticky white film by the time summer came. After cleaning the film off the rubber seals with dish soap, elbow grease and conditioner, I applied SONAX RUBBER PROTECTANT and it gave the rubber a new black look. and very flexible. Almost like a new rubber seal. I'll reapply it later in the fall and…
