Good alternative to the Silhouette brand rugs for the price. I don't like that it leaves marks on anything attached to it. Then the rest is transferred to my materials. It's fine if I use the whole piece, but it's not ideal if I have to roll it back up and it transfers to the good side of the roll.

First notice that there are no marks in the top corners to show where the 8.5 x 11 paper needs to be aligned. I missed it. Which is good, I thought I could just put a tick there, but I skipped that. But the real problem is that the sticky layer of the mat has separated from the protective layer. It wasn't a ton so I figured as long as most of it stays there to work it's fine. no It didn't work on paper either.

I bought these rugs because they had good reviews but I am so disappointed in their quality. At first they were either lightly used or damaged with a few dings and scratches on the adhesive, but I didn't really care. These are inexpensive mats and I don't expect top notch quality control. It was a red flag however, when I removed the protective coating from the mat some of the adhesive stuck to the coating and completely detached from the mat (see photos). I use Cricut Maker and use it almost all day, every day. I go through Cricut mats quite often and wanted something more budget friendly. The carpets are good, no question. The adhesive is superior to Cricut brand mats. However, they are thinner and more flexible.
