Standard Motor Products PC484 Crankshaft Position Review

ORIGINAL lasted 14 years and 125,000 miles. This failed after 11 months and 7,000 miles. Buy the next one from the dealer. As a result, my engine cut out at 70 km/h. extremely dangerous

The product was installed 2 months ago. Back in store today for a replacement. The car's engine was turned off. Maybe Mopar cars don't like some parts but they worked for 2 months.

The part worked great on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. The check engine light went out after about 15 miles after a simple install. Time will tell if it will hold up as well as the OEM model, but fingers crossed!

When it comes to car parts, there's usually either one star or five stars. This crankshaft sensor had nothing but five star reviews for everyone who bought it. And then a bad review from me because the sensor failed within 200 miles of installation. Specifically, I replaced all of the sensors on this 2006 Dodge Charger Hemi. The crankshaft sensor was the only thing I saved on because the standard engine product has to be high quality. I assume this part is made in China. Like everything else…
