Not suitable without modification

The locking pin was too large or too far back to engage. Couldn't install on my 93 del Sol. Might work if I sip a little. Not returned to the project

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Without automatic

Some machining needed

This part would be perfect except I had to sand a bit with a dremel to get the straight pin to fit properly. Apart from the fact that the pen is too big at first, it works well afterwards

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Did the trick! for ignition parts

Worked great on a '95 Honda Civic. The setup is doable for a shadow mechanic. There are videos on Youtube that make it easy. Made in Taiwan, although the description says "Made in China".

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Very expensive

Excellent replacement for the original part

Ideal for replacing a broken ignition cylinder. I wish there was a guide on how to install it properly. Now it's locked in place and there's no way for me to remove it without damaging the entire steering column setup. Otherwise it works just as well as the original.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Modern

Good quality part fits lock cylinder

Works well you may need a locksmith if your 2002 Honda Civic does not have a small knob that slides out of the cylinder. The dealer will say you need the entire assembly including the bracket body, but that is not the case, the dealer cannot sell just the cylinder, they sell it as a whole. But you can still use this cylinder if you can remove the factory cylinder, it will slip but you need specialist help. The parts are of good quality and very cheap. .

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • not sure

Excellent goods! Best in Ignition Parts

My broken down 99 Honda Civic was broken into a few days ago and this is the 5th time thieves have tried to steal this car since I bought it from a used car dealer 10 years ago but the thieves haven't been able to since steal I had installed the ignition lock. Expect they really messed up the ignition cylinder lock this time. I can't turn it all the way to the off position, and you can just start the car with a Phillips screwdriver if there's no ignition switch. Received replacement from…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Dear
