Does the job but the quality leaves something to be desired

Easy to install and does the job. Other than that, it just feels cheap. It just seems sloppy and every now and then when I remove the key and open the door it starts ringing like I left the key in the ignition.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Security

Crap, something happened to quality control standards

worked twice, the latch would not return to the on position, I had to carefully sharpen the tongue from the opposite side with a dremel to dislodge the toggle switch that second part a year off standard, last defective part was the accelerator pedal/position sensor, failed after six months, asked for a three year warranty, didn't respond to my emails or calls. I used to think they were one of the best after sales companies but now I will avoid them.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • useless functions

Fits 2002 Suburban LT

Fits and works well in 2002 Chevy Suburban LT. Open the old lock. Insert the key into the new lock and push it in until it clicks. It may be necessary to adjust the position of the switch so that the square portion of the lock fits into the mating socket in the lock cavity. I had to do it, then everything went without problems. You'll see what I mean if you remove the old lock and shine a flashlight into the lock cavity on the steering column. You will see a rectangular socket into which the…
