The product itself may be fine. I'll never know because the manufacturer's packaging ruins everything. The product is fully adhered to the cardboard backing to the point where it cannot be removed - the tape has torn and/or parts of the cardboard surface are stuck to it making it unusable. I returned it.

This is stained glass film, very good for it and inexpensive. The container acts as a holder to keep the foil from fraying, which may help some, although I have my own container so I don't need it. I've been using foil in my projects for years and can't think of a single reason not to use it.

This item has been heavily tarnished. I suspect that this slide is very old. Glue isn't the best. In addition, this film is very inflexible because it is heavily tarnished. Attempting to foil even the smoothest of curves will result in this foil tearing along the radius. No matter how slow and warm I get the foil, it tears along the radius many times. This makes a lot more work for the glass painter! I will NOT buy from this seller again!
