The answer seems to be

In my case this antenna doesn't seem to work any better than the omnidirectional antenna I had previously. The signal strength seems to be down and I'm still having ice problems with the internal antenna. Not very happy with the result.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Antenna didn't help

Ordered this Yaga to replace the omnidirectional antenna that came with the kit. We couldn't get any of them to improve our cell signal even after some adjustments. The packaging was good and the antenna was as advertised, it just didn't fit us.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Antenna works fine but no mount

The antenna seems to work fairly well, however no mounting hardware was sent to me and I still have no way of mounting it correctly. Tried to contact support but couldn't reach anyone. You would like to keep this antenna, but need mounting material as soon as possible!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Didn't improve reception compared to Omni

I bought both Omni and this Yagi antenna. I'm pretty close to cell phone towers but I live on top of a hill which blocks the signal. In my case, the omnidirectional antenna worked better because it picked up different cellular signals from different carriers. Yagi gave me the same results for a carrier when I targeted it, but I lost other carriers. I wanted all the carriers to be amplified so visitors could get a decent signal. Bottom line, the Yagi didn't give me a better signal compared to an

Much more effective than an omni antenna

I first bought a SureCall Fusion4Home omni/whip kit to use in my RV. I installed an omnidirectional antenna on an extendable flagpole at the back of the RV so I can elevate it up to 30 feet when stopping. The idea was to boost a weak cellular signal in remote locations enough that I could potentially work on my laptop from an RV. Well, that dream is closer with this new antenna. The omnidirectional antenna works, but it doesn't boost the signal enough to be reliable. It takes a weak signal andโ€ฆ

Perfect tower reception at 10-15 miles

Works much better than the beam I had because there are so many different towers in different directions signals come and go so you need an omnidirectional antenna. see all towers at once.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

We live in a very hilly area and our house is mostly hidden by thick concrete walls. right between the two nearest cell towers so we don't get coverage without a repeater. using the omnidirectional antenna that came with my surecall fusion4home kit, we got intermittent but fairly reliable coverage. - with this antenna our speeds have increased. The previously constantly distorted call quality was immediately clear. In our situation, this was a life saver. highly recommended. The photo was taken

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as dense as other options
